I have a confession to make\u2026I wrote about girdles yesterday because I was staring at a blank page with no ideas.\u00a0 I had no idea it would be so interesting to so many people.\u00a0 Several of you asked what kind of shapewear I\u2019m wearing\u2026.and since yesterday proved that I have no boundaries\u2026I\u2019ll tell you.<\/p>\n

First, a quick disclaimer(required by the government) that none of these companies have paid for my endorsement in any way.\u00a0 If they\u2019d like to send a few free samples as a thank you\u2026.I wouldn\u2019t turn it down.<\/p>\n

A few of you recommended Spanx.\u00a0 I\u2019ve tried them, and they just didn\u2019t hold the flab enough for me.\u00a0 If they work for you, great!\u00a0 You\u2019re a lucky girl.\u00a0 If you need something a bit stronger to tie down what you\u2019ve got\u2026then here are my picks.<\/p>\n

For everyday wear, I really like the Flexees tanks<\/a>.\u00a0 They look like a regular tank top but have a magic underneath layer that holds it all in.\u00a0 The are long enough to just below my hip bone.\u00a0 They are available in black and white.\u00a0 (I own both)\u00a0 I bought the maximum firm control.\u00a0 They don\u2019t roll up from the bottom and look great with a t-shirt and shorts\/jeans.\u00a0 I really love that they smooth out the bubble of fat that comes up over my bra strap on my back. (You know that cute thing that grows by your arm pit? Gone.\u00a0 Like magic.)<\/p>\n

If I\u2019m smoothing out my waist, behind and thighs, it\u2019s the Miraclesuit extra firm control high waist thigh slimmer<\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s a big long name, but it works.\u00a0 It stays in place as long as you don\u2019t get overly ambitious and buy one that\u2019s too small.\u00a0 It\u2019s especially good post baby for reminding that skin where it actually belongs. It\u2019s kinda hot in the summer, so if you\u2019re not going somewhere special, I\u2019d skip this one when it\u2019s warm outside. (It\u2019s a girdle but they don\u2019t call it that.)<\/p>\n

Need a better bra?\u00a0 I like the Bali Comfort-U minimizer<\/a>.\u00a0 After nursing 6 babies, my girls have gone from a C to a DD.\u00a0 It keeps things locked in place and up front where they should be.\u00a0 I really like that it is designed to reduce bra bulge.\u00a0 (I\u2019m not that fat.\u00a0 Even skinny girls get bra bulge.)<\/p>\n

I\u2019m also a fan of the Victoria\u2019s Secret Full Coverage Minimizer <\/a>bra.\u00a0 It\u2019s feminine, pretty, does the job and their bras last FOREVER if you care for them properly.<\/p>\n

Finally, if you are looking for a swimsuit that holds it all in\u2026.you have to try the Miraclesuit swimwear<\/a>.\u00a0 Oh my goodness, y\u2019all.\u00a0 Finally I don\u2019t feel as if I have to hide my post-baby body under a beach towel.\u00a0 Kinda pricey but totally worth it if you swim often.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
