She then told me that it would be even better if we could sing the song Cinderella did when she <\/i>scrubbed the floor.\u00a0\u00a0 Thank you Pandora radio.\u00a0 We sang and scrubbed for 1 1\/2 hours.<\/li>\n
When they heard the singing, #\u2019s 1 and 2 came in to join the fun.\u00a0 They ended up serenading us from the counter.\u00a0 A little Mulan music and they were belting it out! I love that this is still cool in our house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Garlic cheese grits.\u00a0 (I halved the recipe for our family.\u00a0 It makes a lot!)<\/p>\n
2 eggs
\n1 cup white quick grits
\n4 cups water
\n1 tsp. garlic powder
\n1 tsp. dried mustard
\n16 ounces Velveeta cheese
\n1 stick of butter or margarine<\/p>\n
Put water, garlic and mustard in a pan and bring to a boil; add grits. \u00a0Cook according to grits package directions until grits are thickened. \u00a0While grits are cooking, chop cheese and butter into small pieces. \u00a0When grits are cooked, add cheese and butter and stir until melted (heat off). \u00a0Set aside for approximately 20 minutes.<\/p>\n
Separate egg whites<\/span> and yolks. Fold yolks into the grits, cheese, butter mixture.<\/p>\n
Beat egg whites until they stand in peaks. \u00a0Fold half of the mixture into the grits. \u00a0Spread the remaining half of whites on top like you do when adding meringue to a pie.<\/p>\n
Bake grits at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. \u00a0Remove from oven. \u00a0Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. \u00a0Mixture will thicken as it cools.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

With brisket and salad for dinner.\u00a0 Yum!<\/td>\n	<\/td>\n	<\/td>\n	<\/td>\n	<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n \n I learned a knew coupon system from my friend Peace<\/a>.\u00a0 I used it this weekend at CVS.\u00a0 I spent $10 out of pocket and got $30 of stuff for free.\u00a0 Thank you, Peace!<\/li>\n I sent an email to Jennifer of Conversion Diary<\/a> and told her that I\u2019ll be in Austin in a few weeks\u2026does she want to get together?\u00a0 It felt a bit stalker-y and I hoped she wouldn\u2019t be weirded out.\u00a0 She wasn\u2019t!\u00a0\u00a0 In fact, she said \u201cthat sounds great!! I\u2019ve been a big fan of your blog for a while, so I\u2019m excited at the chance to meet you in person.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 OMg!\u00a0 Jennifer Fulwiler reads my blog and is a fan!\u00a0\u00a0 (Okay, now I\u2019ve crossed into creepy stalker-y\u2026.but she can\u2019t back out now!\u00a0 You\u2019ve all seen it. I love that this is still cool in our house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div>\n Garlic cheese grits.\u00a0 (I halved the recipe for our family.\u00a0 It makes a lot!)<\/p>\n 2 eggs \n1 cup white quick grits \n4 cups water \n1 tsp. garlic powder \n1 tsp. dried mustard \n16 ounces Velveeta cheese \n1 stick of butter or margarine<\/p>\n Put water, garlic and mustard in a pan and bring to a boil; add grits. \u00a0Cook according to grits package directions until grits are thickened. \u00a0While grits are cooking, chop cheese and butter into small pieces. \u00a0When grits are cooked, add cheese and butter and stir until melted (heat off). \u00a0Set aside for approximately 20 minutes.<\/p>\n Separate egg whites<\/span> and yolks. Fold yolks into the grits, cheese, butter mixture.<\/p>\n Beat egg whites until they stand in peaks. \u00a0Fold half of the mixture into the grits. \u00a0Spread the remaining half of whites on top like you do when adding meringue to a pie.<\/p>\n Bake grits at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. \u00a0Remove from oven. \u00a0Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. \u00a0Mixture will thicken as it
