For months now, I have had a button at the top of this blog asking for Prayers for Rebecca.\u00a0 I\u2019m asking for them again.\u00a0\u00a0 Rebecca is in urgent need of prayer.<\/p>\n

Rebecca is a 3 1\/2 year old who has been diagnosed with mitochondrial disease which is a degenerative disease of the cells.\u00a0 Her sweet spirit has carried her through so much pain and trauma already.\u00a0 Tonight, she is in the hospital in Houston after she began vomiting on Tuesday.\u00a0 She is in a lot of discomfort and only gets a reprieve when they give her her medication. Go to her mom\u2019s blog<\/a> for all the details. \u00a0 Please, please pray for her healing and that of her two sisters who have also been diagnosed with mitochondrial disease.<\/p>\n

Please also pray for their parents Joy and Tom who are in that awful place of sitting next to their sick child and unable to help.\u00a0 I knew Joy when she was a girl with a big smile and a ready laugh.\u00a0 This is such a difficult path to be on, and yet they walk it with such grace and deep faith.<\/p>\n
