Thursday: \u201cI played with C.J. and another boy at recess today.\u00a0 They both have really brown skin, but they\u2019re not brothers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Friday: \u201cI played with Nash and Logan today.\u00a0 They have my color skin and hair, but they\u2019re not brothers either.\u00a0 Nobody in my class is brothers with anybody else in my class.\u00a0 We\u2019re all just friends.\u00a0 Don\u2019t you think it\u2019s weird that there are no brothers at all in the third grade?\u201d<\/p>\n
What a strange world he has entered, from one where all of his friends come with large families and playmates for his own siblings to a place where there are no siblings only friends.\u00a0 He likes it.\u00a0 It\u2019s just that he reminds me of an explorer in a strange and exotic land.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
