We went this evening to have dinner with Drea from The Escape<\/a>. ( Are you reading her yet? )\u00a0 I knew we were friends when we made the crazed call to say, \u201cWe\u2019re not coming after all.\u00a0 We\u2019re 5 minutes from your house and the 3 year old just threw up all over the back seat of the car.\u201d<\/p>\n

To which she calmly replied, \u201cWhy aren\u2019t you coming?\u00a0 It\u2019s just puke.\u00a0 I have clean clothes to put on him and a carpet shampooer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sure enough, her husband met us outside the\u00a0 house with the shampooer in hand and helped my sweet Computer Guy wipe down seats and clean the upholstery.\u00a0 She had clean washcloths ready to wipe off the boy, and then offered my husband a beer and me a margarita.<\/p>\n
