A few years ago, on Valentine\u2019s Day, I wrote \u201c100 Things I love about you\u201d for the Computer Guy.\u00a0 (Ladies, breathe.\u00a0 I\u2019m not suggesting a blog post for Mother\u2019s Day.\u00a0 Stick with me.)\u00a0 Write that list for your wife.\u00a0 100 things you love about her.\u00a0 Be specific.\u00a0 \u201cThat mole that only we know about.\u201d\u00a0 or \u201cThe Texas twang that only appears when you\u2019re tired or drinking.\u201d\u00a0 Go see my list<\/a> for some brainstorming help, but don\u2019t copy as she may read my blog.\u00a0 Take a few days to write it, you have a month.\u00a0 Once you have it typed up, take it to Kinko\u2019s or Office Depot, or some other printing place.\u00a0 Have them use your list to create a booklet for your wife.\u00a0 5 items on a page, on the good vellum paper, the size of a credit card, spiral bound, and with a plastic cover.\u00a0 She can pop it into her purse or coat pocket and when life gets crazy, she can slip it out and read a few to remind her of all the reasons she is the woman you love.<\/p>\n

You can get bonus points for its companion \u201cThe things we love about mom.\u201d\u00a0 Ask the kids to write 10 items each and don\u2019t edit them.\u00a0 Be sure to include the authors\u2019 ages.\u00a0 You can add it all into your book or go for the 2 volume set.\u00a0 Let the littlest one design the cover art. <\/p>\n
