The Misfit, from IF<\/a>, has graciously offered to help me figure out what to do with my problem room.\u00a0 She\u2019s brilliant at design, and I\u2019m not so much.\u00a0 She said \u201cShow me pictures of your room and of a room you like and I\u2019ll give you helpful hints\u201d or something along those lines.\u00a0 Yippee!\u00a0 I may actually figure out this room before we move.\u00a0 I thought some of you might like to play along.\u00a0 Look at the pictures and tell me what you would do with this decorating dilemma.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

\u00a0I think this room was supposed to be a formal dining room<\/span>, but it is much too small for our family to use that way.\u00a0 It is right off the entryway and between the kitchen and family room<\/span>.\u00a0 The only thing that is a must is the stained glass<\/span> hanging in the window, it is too difficult to move and covers the view of my neighbor\u2019s ugly air conditioner<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Here are some pics of the family room, too.\u00a0 It is not \u201cdone\u201d but is the room I am happiest with so far.\u00a0 It is the perfect green \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 (Green tea by Behr)\u00a0 I like Art Deco, modern and antique thrown together in an eclectic mishmash.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s relevant, but I also collect Mexican Talavera pottery<\/span>.<\/p>\n
