It\u2019s been a while since we\u2019ve played this game.\u00a0 Ten random facts, only one is not true.<\/p>\n
1.\u00a0 I worked one year as a life guard.\u00a0 While taking my test, I had to \u201csave\u201d a 300+ pound man from drowning while he kept trying to drown me.\u00a0 I weighed maybe 100 pounds and was under 5 feet tall.\u00a0 After wrestling with him for almost 2 minutes, I clamped my hand onto the manlier parts of his anatomy and let him know I meant business.\u00a0 He stopped struggling; I didn\u2019t hurt him.\u00a0 I think that\u2019s a fair trade.\u00a0 True.\u00a0 Coach Baker gave me a wide berth after that.<\/b><\/p>\n
2.\u00a0 I once rebuilt a VW engine by myself using the \u201cVolkswagon Repair for Dummies\u201d book.\u00a0 I\u2019m no dummy, but those books are great.\u00a0 They taught me that a smart girl with a wrench can fix almost anything.\u00a0 False.\u00a0 I\u2019ve done just about everything\u00a0 else to a VW except rebuild it.<\/b><\/p>\n
3. A friend of mine and I painted a mural for our high school cafeteria.\u00a0 The subject matter was dull, so we hid 27 cats, both living and dead, into the mural.\u00a0 Sometimes, I wonder if they\u2019ve ever noticed.\u00a0 True.\u00a0 If you go to my alma mater, it\u2019s the \u201cHistory of Art\u201d mural.\u00a0 Start looking under the tire of the \u201957 Chevy and go from there.<\/b><\/p>\n
4. I once begged my best friend to let me dissect the frog in Biology.\u00a0 Nothing doing.\u00a0 I got to the the earthworm, she got to do the frog.\u00a0 She always was selfish like that.\u00a0 True.<\/b><\/p>\n
5. I had an allergic reaction to stress when #2 was in the hospital and broke out in hives from head to toe.\u00a0 I never knew you could be allergic to an emotion.\u00a0 True.<\/b><\/p>\n
6. Decided California was not the place for me as I sat on the beach one morning and naked hippies ran past me into the water where they frolicked, splashed and played.\u00a0 (They had to be at least 50 years old.\u00a0 Honestly, nobody wants to see that.) I called my father that afternoon and told him this Texas girl was coming home.\u00a0 True.\u00a0 What I would\u2019ve given for some eye bleach.<\/b><\/p>\n
7. Left a 2 week old at home with my sweet husband to go to a Billy Joel concert with my dear friend Joanne.\u00a0 For two old ladies we sure could dance and man could we scream!\u00a0 True.\u00a0 I love Billy Joel.<\/b><\/p>\n
8.I knew I would marry the Computer Guy after our first date.\u00a0 I called my mom and said, \u201cI just went out on a date with (insert name here), the man I\u2019m going to marry.\u201d\u00a0 She replied \u201cWhat\u2019s his last name?\u201d\u00a0 I told her, \u201cI don\u2019t know, that\u2019s what second dates are for.\u201d\u00a0 True, just ask my mom.<\/b><\/p>\n
9. Once had purple and green hair.\u00a0 It didn\u2019t last long, but I\u2019m still boring my children with stories about it.\u00a0 True.\u00a0 Doug, you didn\u2019t always live with me.<\/b><\/p>\n
