As I sit at the keyboard, our sweet boy is slumbering upstairs in his own bed.\u00a0 He is curled up with Reddo the Dragon, underneath his star blanket, and sleeping that boneless sleep of childhood.<\/p>\n
While he recharges his batteries for tomorrow\u2019s mischief, I am filled with relief and gratitude.\u00a0 Gratitude to God, Our Father, for protecting my sweet son through this whole ordeal and for gifting his father and myself with the strength we needed during it.\u00a0 Gratitude also to our family and friends for their help and constant prayer, and to the readers of this blog for the outpouring of love and prayers for a child many of you will never personally know.<\/p>\n
I am struck by the bounty of good in this world.\u00a0 Many people will complain about the evils of the modern age, but I know the truth.\u00a0 A small boy in Oklahoma ate some Legos, and people from all over the world bowed their heads in prayer for him.\u00a0 What a wondrous time this is indeed.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
