After pausing the 2021 event due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Universal Orlando is once again revving up its premiere Christian music festival, Rock the Universe, on January 28-30, 2022. The lineup includes GRAMMY-winning Christian artists and bands such as for KING & COUNTRY, Casting Crowns, Matthew West, Zach Williams, and more.
The weekend kicks off Friday night with feature performances by GRAMMY award-winning Christian pop duo, for KING & COUNTRY, Dove award-winning contemporary Christian artist, Matthew West, and more. Saturday night will bring performances by GRAMMY award-winning contemporary Christian rock band, Casting Crowns, multiple GRAMMY award-winning Christian rock artist, Zach Williams, Dove award-winning contemporary Christian band, Big Daddy Weave, and more. Beyond the main stage performances, Rock the Universe attendees can enjoy worship experiences throughout the weekend – including a Saturday ceremony with a special message and a moving musical performance, a powerful Sunday morning worship service to wrap up the faith-filled weekend, plus a dedicated FanZone presented by Coca-Cola, featuring live performances from up-and-coming acts. Universal also provides youth leader lounges during the event with free snacks and beverages.
Since 1998, Universal’s Rock the Universe has drawn thousands of Christian music fans and a massive collection of Christian artists, including TobyMac, Michael W. Smith, Lauren Daigle, LeCrae, Jesus Culture, Chris Tomlin, and many more. For many years, the event was held in September on the same weekend as Walt Disney World’s Night of Joy. In 2019, the event was moved to early February and then to late January.
