In the new ABC drama FlashForward<\/em>, which premiered Sept. 24 and airs on Thursday nights, a fictional world is grappling with that unlikely scenario. Somehow, everyone in the world blacks out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and sees dreamlike visions of what life will be like approximately six months later.<\/p>\n

FBI Agent Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) sees himself investigating a web of clues about the blackout and coming under attack from outside sources. His wife, Olivia (Sonya Walger), however, encounters a troubling vision of the end of their marriage and the addition of a new mystery man.<\/p>\n

With the help of the bureau and his boss, Stanford Wedeck (Courtney B. Vance), Benford investigates the mystery and attempts to keep it from happening again. With his wife\u2019s revelation hanging over his head, he also attempts to provide hope for his partner, Demetri Noh (John Cho), suspecting that because Demetri did not see a vision his death may be imminent.<\/p>\n
