This time, however, I took a closer look.<\/div>\n<div style=\"border-bottom: medium none;border-left: medium none;border-right: medium none;border-top: medium none\">The first thing that I discovered was that, far from being plain and black, these butterflies were mostly <em>blue<\/em>, with the\u00a0color ranging from a deep purple to a light, almost iridescent blue, but this was not apparent when they were in the shadows.<\/div>\n<p>The next thing I discovered was that, as I took the time to look up into the trees, that the trees were\u00a0<em>full<\/em> of butterflies. It was as though\u00a0they were\u00a0butterfly trees rather than (or at the same time as) pear trees.<\/p>\n<p>There is no particularly deep message in this, other than that sometimes there is a lot more going on in a familiar place or scene than we are likely to\u00a0notice, with our tendency to look superficially. <\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_BtqUSG7RCA0\/TGtZAhkFoHI\/AAAAAAAAAss\/WufTsMqmQq0\/s1600\/close-up.jpg\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_BtqUSG7RCA0\/TGtZAhkFoHI\/AAAAAAAAAss\/WufTsMqmQq0\/s320\/close-up.jpg\" width=\"320\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The photos in this post are ones I took today.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/7622297540113836091-7461162938637967419?l=exploringourmatrix.blogspot.com\" alt=\"\"><\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today when I was mowing the lawn, I noticed once again that there seemed to be several butterflies, which appeared to be black, spending time in the shadow of our pear trees.
