I usually look to IO9 for science fiction updates, but today they had <a href=\"http:\/\/io9.com\/5576734\/computer-program-deciphers-a-dead-language-that-mystified-linguists\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">a post about developing computer programs to decipher languages, and it was tested on Ugaritic<\/a>! <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile the blog I recently discovered, Jesus Needs New PR, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jesusneedsnewpr.net\/heres-why-the-a-v-1611-king-james-version-bible-is-the-only-true-bible\/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed:+JesusNeedsNewPr+(JESUS+NEEDS+NEW+PR:+The+blog+of+author+Matthew+Paul+Turner)\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">shared a video of one of the least intelligible \u201carguments\u201d I\u2019ve ever encountered<\/a> to support any point of view, anywhere, ever. It came from another blog which was new to me, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stufffundieslike.com\/2010\/06\/bible-stories-elisha-and-the-she-bears\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Stuff Fundies Like<\/a>, which also had this poster to share:<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stufffundieslike.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/shebears.jpg\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stufffundieslike.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/shebears.jpg\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Of course, the allusion is to a story that has been discussed here before.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve saved the serious stuff for last. Via <a href=\"http:\/\/dukenewt.blogspot.com\/2010\/06\/student-journal-for-new-testament.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">DukeNewt<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/evangelicaltextualcriticism.blogspot.com\/2010\/06\/didache-as-textual-witness.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Evangelical Textual Criticism<\/a>, I learned that there is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sjnts.net\/Home_Page.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">new journal in which students can publish their New Testament research<\/a>.
