Can anyone help make sense of it?<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Fiery Furnaces - My Egyptian Grammar\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5GPAwQ2e9YY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<p>Both the name of the band and the title of the album from which it comes (Widow City) have religious references.<\/p>\n<p>HT <a href=\"http:\/\/oihistory.blogspot.com\/2012\/12\/the-fiery-furnaces-my-egypian-grammar.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Oriental Institute<\/a>, which is mentioned in the song. I consulted my Egyptian Grammar.<\/p>\n<p>On p. 333 was the hieroglyph for motorcycle helmet.<\/p>\n<p>I combined this with a leather-back\u2019s shell as I felt I was instructed.<\/p>\n<p>I Xeroxed it and posted it down by the bike lock-ups at the Oriental Institute.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe a nether-world entity would see it and pass it on to those responsible.<\/p>\n<p>That kind of thing must happen sometimes.<\/p>\n<p>Now that clearly didn\u2019t happen. I consulted by Egyptian Grammar.<\/p>\n<p>On p. 428 was the hieroglyph for French Canal boat.<\/p>\n<p>I met on the Midway someone channeling up a whatever it wasn\u2019t:<\/p>\n<p>There are 17 sections of cymbals in the orchestra of the oversold, it said.<\/p>\n<p>Your youth is lost and doesn\u2019t it now seem<\/p>\n<p>You can\u2019t make smoke\u2013only steam?<\/p>\n<p>Now that clearly didn\u2019t happen.
