That\u2019s exactly what so many Christians do with Christianity. It talks about being crucified with Christ, about taking up one\u2019s cross, about selling all one has and giving it to the poor and following Jesus. And we find ways of turning it into something that we can be comfortable with, something that allows\u00a0us<\/em> to be the victors, instead of joining Jesus among the victims.<\/p>\n

If your Christianity is about you being right, or getting what you want, I would suggest that you take a careful look to see whether you are reclining on La-Z-Jesus, instead of following one that even slightly resembles the historical Jesus.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
