For those who may not know the original version, 1 Corinthians 11:14-15a reads: \u201cDoes not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him,\u00a0but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory?\u201d<\/p>\n
All jokes aside, it is an important text for illustrating that what Paul meant by \u201cnature\u201d and \u201cnatural\u201d isn\u2019t what we mean by those terms. If there is one thing that isn\u2019t natural in the modern sense of the word, it is cutting one\u2019s hair to keep it artificially short!<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
