Here are some items that have already come across my radar:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.allanbevere.com\/2013\/05\/the-trinity-is-not-appendix-to.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/matthewdg.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/trinity-172175215_std.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"121\" height=\"118\">Allan Bevere<\/a> suggests that the Trinity is not an appendix to Christian doctrine but something central. I find this a problematic assertion, even though I appreciate some of the things that he suggests that the Trinity can help to emphasize, such as God as inherently relational. The Trinity in its later metaphysical elaboration is simply not there in the New Testament, and so one has to ask in what sense something that was not there from the beginning, nor part of Jesus\u2019 own teaching or viewpoint, can be considered central to Christian faith.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/postost.net\/2013\/05\/shema-important-understanding-one-god-one-lord\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Andrew Perriman<\/a> deals well with an important piece of New Testament evidence, 1 Corinthians 8:4. I\u2019ll give his conclusion below \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/postost.net\/2013\/05\/shema-important-understanding-one-god-one-lord\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">click through<\/a> to see how he reaches it.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>So when Paul says that \u201cfor us there is\u2026 one Lord, Jesus Christ\u201d, he is not saying that Jesus is the \u201cLORD\u201d in the Shema, that Jesus is\u00a0YHWH. He is saying that Jesus has been given an authority\u2014or a name\u2014above that of all the other \u201clords\u201d that hold sway in the Greek-Roman world. He does not have this authority\u00a0<em>as<\/em>\u00a0YHWH. He has received it\u00a0<em>from<\/em>\u00a0YHWH.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/danielomcclellan.wordpress.com\/2013\/05\/18\/larry-hurtado-reviews-staudts-der-eine-und-einzige-gott\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mwctoys.com\/images\/review_trinity12_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"52\" height=\"106\">Dan McClellan<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/ntscholarship.wordpress.com\/2013\/05\/18\/the-one-and-the-only-god\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Johnson Thomaskutty<\/a> interacted with <a href=\"http:\/\/larryhurtado.wordpress.com\/2013\/04\/29\/the-one-and-the-only-god\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">a recent post by Larry Hurtado<\/a>, reviewing a book about the \u201cone and only God.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ruralreverend.blogspot.com\/2013\/05\/and-god-created-wisdom-and-saw-that-she.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">John Squires and Elizabeth Raine<\/a> explore issues of Trinitarian theology through a fictional dialogue.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.forward.com\/jj-goldberg\/176972\/how-the-trinity-impacted-judaism-via-kabbalah\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">J. J.
