I\u2019m delighted to have had the opportunity to visit New York City, if only for a day, and teach a guest class at General Theological Seminary. Before the class, I had a chance to meet Deirdre Good (whose blog<\/a> has one of the most interesting titles in the blogosphere) and chat over espresso about Mandaeans Miriai, monotheism and other topics of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

The topic for the class was Acts 9, and the title on the syllabus was \u201cA Dangerous Person.\u201d So I somewhat playfully asked whether this was a reference to his activity as persecutor of the church before becoming a Christian, or his influence on the church after becoming a Christian.<\/p>\n

And thanks to the wonder of modern technology, I was still able to find out what the title of the final episode of LOST will be<\/a>. Don\u2019t look \u2013 it gives too much away\u2026<\/p>\n
