I\u2019ve decided to try turning on Google Ads for this site. I hope it won\u2019t be a nuisance. It just seems like something that has become fairly standard, and which it might in fact be foolish not to\u00a0switch on.\u00a0Or perhaps the foolish thing is to switch it on?<\/p>\n

Does anyone have strong feelings about it as a reader of this and\/or other blogs, or as a blog owner who has a positive or negative experience with the ads?<\/p>\n

One thing I will<\/em> say at this point: If they start advertising stuff that has the same keywords but opposite aims<\/a> to my posts, this experiment will be over quickly! But then again, I understand that it is possible to filter the ads.<\/p>\n

At this stage, I\u2019m mainly looking for thoughts and input \u2013 much like I was in relation to Firefox!<\/p>\n
