<\/div>\nIn addition to the previews in Google Books mentioned in my last post, I\u2019ve just come across a few more sources about baptism in Gnosticism.\u00a0Obviously I have yet to read them (since I just found them) but which already\u00a0appear to be\u00a0worth sharing.<\/p>\n
There is a 2007 dissertation by Lubbertus Klaas van Os, \u201cBaptism in the bridal chamber : the gospel of Philip as a Valentinian baptismal.\u201d<\/a> The entire dissertation is available to read and download<\/a>.<\/p>\n John D. Turner has online his piece on \u201cRitual in Gnosticism.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0His web site<\/a> contains other useful sources and links as well. <\/p>\n Finally, there is what appears to be a new journal, Intermountain West Journal of Religious Studies<\/a><\/em>, published by Utah State University.
