It is a result of not listening as often as I\u2019d like, more than anything else.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I was fortunate enough to get in my car and turn on the radio just as one of my favorite pieces of music was starting. Howard Hanson\u2019s Symphony No.2, \u201cRomantic,\u201d is a beautiful piece of music, one that refreshes and invigorates the listener emotionally\/spiritually.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve never heard the piece, there are at least two places where you can listen to it online. <\/p>\n<p>There is an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/templates\/story\/story.php?storyId=4720286\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">NPR program from 2005<\/a> which begins with this symphony (the entire thing, with some introductory commentary, is available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/templates\/player\/mediaPlayer.html?action=1&amp;t=1&amp;islist=false&amp;id=4720286&amp;m=4720487\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">online<\/a>). <\/p>\n<p>There is also an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.magazzini-sonori.it\/esplora_contenuti\/autori_esecutori\/sinfonia_romantic.aspx\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Italian site<\/a> which\u00a0allows you to either listen online or\u00a0download the\u00a0recording as an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.magazzini-sonori.it\/audio_programma2_2801__howard_hanson___sinfonia_n2_op30_romantic.aspx\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">mp3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/7622297540113836091-5289174378855507342?l=exploringourmatrix.blogspot.com\" alt=\"\"><\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Someone\u00a0observed to me recently that I haven\u2019t been mentioning in my Facebook status as much as I used to what pieces of music I\u2019ve been listening to.
