Today I had my attention drawn<\/a> to the \u201cAnswers in Genesis\u201d entry on the Uncyclopedia<\/a>. It begins as follows:<\/p>\n

Answers in Genesis<\/strong>\u00a0is a satirical Christian ministry that parodies the genuine Pastafarian ministry Answers in the Gospel of the\u00a0Flying Spaghetti Monster<\/a>. It aims to portray\u00a0Christians<\/a>\u00a0as mouth breathing, arm swinging retards who sit on their high horse and spend all day whining about how horrible the world is today and how\u00a0oh so nice<\/em>\u00a0it was during the Dark Ages.<\/p>\n

\"\"The website often has joke articles which say things like \u201cDarwinism is the central column of laissez-faire economics and Stalinism\u201d (capitalism\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0communism at the same time \u2013 I guess it\u2019s easy to hit opposite sides at the same time when you\u2019re continually beating a dead horse) and \u201cthe secular parts of the world are morally corrupt; I\u2019d much rather live in Saudi Arabia than in France\u201d. Sarcastic comments like this are made by world renowned stand up comedian, Oxford nerd and atheist\u00a0Richard Dawkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some Christians complain about how they are made to look like umpa lumpas high on superglue who have just left a mental institute in lah lah land, but the website\u2019s creators insist it\u2019s all the name of comedy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
