Paul is famous for his emphasis on faith, and much contemporary Christianity follows his lead on this point. <\/p>\n<p>Yet when it comes down to it, Paul says that there is something more important than faith \u2013 more important even than <a href=\"http:\/\/bible.cc\/matthew\/17-20.htm\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the sort of faith Jesus talked about as capable of moving mountains<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing\u2026And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is <a href=\"http:\/\/exploringourmatrix.blogspot.com\/2008\/09\/1-corinthians-13-paraphrased-for.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">love<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Corinthians+13&amp;version=NIV\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">1 Corinthians 13<\/a>).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/experimentaltheology.blogspot.com\/2010\/02\/greatest-of-these-is-love.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Richard\u2019s<\/a> own conclusion is likewise worth quoting:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The defining criterion of Christianity isn\u2019t faith.
