I have no objection! In 2009, Exploring Our Matrix had 303,226 page loads, 232,554 unique visitors, and 50,017 returning visitors according to StatCounter.

I don’t have any way of knowing which pages were the most popular for the year, but I am pretty certain it is my post on how to resolve the problem of a black screen after login when running Windows Vista. The fact that this remains one of the most popular posts, high up on the list every single day for the past two years, doesn’t say much about this blog, but it certainly does say something very clearly indeed about that particular Microsoft operating system.

Windows 7 is much better. My only complaints thus far are that the mouse seems to behave differently (treating a single click as though it were a double click), not showing full folder trees in the side bar in explorer is annoying (although it may just be something that one has to get used to), and some change in the monitor power settings that causes my monitor to periodically switch off and on again if I connect my TV as a second monitor. But that has nothing to do with blog stats, so presumably I should stop typing now. But one last thing related to the topic of this post: THANK YOU FOR VISITING!

John Hobbins seems to think that we all should post our annual blog stats.
