Some of you probably would love<\/em> to own your own copy of The Only True God: Early Christian Monotheism in Its Jewish Context<\/a>\"\"<\/em>, but let\u2019s face it, hardcover academic books are on the expensive side, and some of you are not made of money. (Note to readers who are<\/i> made of money: Please do send me an e-mail and introduce yourselves!)<\/p>\n

Would you like to be able to purchase The Only True God<\/a>\"\"<\/em> in paperback? Well, if so, then here\u2019s what you need to do.<\/p>\n

If the first print run sells out within the first three years, the publisher will follow up with a paperback edition, which will of course be in a price range that individuals and not just institutions can afford.<\/p>\n

And so why not recommend that your local library (whether public or university) purchase the book? Most libraries welcome suggestions for purchases, and they usually get the hardcover edition anyway.<\/p>\n

If enough of you do that, before you know it, there should be a paperback edition of the book available for you to buy, and have a copy of your very own.<\/p>\n
