The fact that one can splice in \u201cflashbacks\u201d to Episode III and have it work so well is impressive. Anyone who watched LOST and found themselves frustrated when things didn\u2019t match up should appreciate what George Lucas accomplished in Star Wars rather than complaining about it.<\/p>\n<p>Some have chosen to \u201creboot\u201d classic shows and films rather than try to offer sequels that seek to maintain continuity. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-gutters.com\/comic\/188-joe-eisma\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The spoof comic Gutters recently explored the idea of the New Testament as a \u201creboot\u201d of the Jewish Scriptures<\/a> (HT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/friendlyatheist\/2011\/09\/16\/lets-reboot-the-bible\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">Hemant Mehta<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.the-gutters.com\/comics\/65ac152d713a87b4e7fc760ff798c7da3fcbd5c7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"720\"><\/p>\n<p>Do you think that the New Testament is better viewed as a sequel or a reboot in relation to the Jewish Scriptures?
