<\/a>An article has appeared in the Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail<\/em> about the \u201cConservative Bible Project\u201d<\/a>, the subject of much discussion in recent weeks. It includes a couple of quotations from me (Shawna Richter, the article\u2019s author, interviewed me about the topic; as it happens, it was from her that I learned of Stephen Colbert\u2019s appeal<\/a> to his viewers to write him into the Bible).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
One thing that struck me about the article is its title, \u201cGroup of U.S. conservatives rewrite the Bible\u201d. Is it safe to assume that this Wiki project has no Canadian participants, that all such bizarre expressions of conservativism are safely confined to the U.S. side of the border? <\/div>\n
