Discussion of the subject could even be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AcademicBiblical\/comments\/1wf58u\/complicating_the_synoptic_problem_recent\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">on Reddit<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>By way of comparison, today I spotted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/davidbokovoy\/2014\/01\/the-death-of-the-documentary-hypothesis\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" class=\" decorated-link\">blog post<\/a> about the fact that rumors of the death of the Documentary Hypothesis in Pentateuchal studies are greatly exaggerated.<\/p>\n<p>Also, in not entirely unrelated news, <a href=\"http:\/\/ntweblog.blogspot.com\/2014\/01\/a-short-film-on-lukes-genealogy.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Mark Goodacre blogged about a video related to Luke's genealogy<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/ntweblog.blogspot.com\/2014\/01\/gospel-of-jesus-wife-smithsonian.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">a trailer for a French documentary about the Gospel of Jesus Wife fragment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Joel Watts presumably subscribes to the view that Mark borrowed from Matthew and Luke, but mainly because <a href=\"http:\/\/unsettledchristianity.com\/2014\/01\/the-farrer-goulder-hypothesis-without-arrows\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">he thinks that the Mark in question is a different Mark who has been accused of plagiarism<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And of course, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2013\/12\/a-new-two-source-hypothesis.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">let me link once again to my favorite solution to the Synoptic problem<\/a>, which I shared here last month.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There has been a lot of discussion of Q online recently.
