The link takes you to a web site connected with Madison Who\u2019s Who. It says there is no charge for inclusion. But discussions online<\/a> suggest that there will then be a follow-up call asking for payment if you want more than your name listed. That sounds about right as far as what I\u2019ve experienced myself at the hands of a Who\u2019s Who organization is concerned.<\/p>\n

My advice: if you get this e-mail or one like it, delete it. It\u2019s not like anyone needs a printed directory to find academics in this day and age.<\/p>\n
