With more professors and professionals blogging, there may well be a decline in interest in <em>some<\/em> biblioblogs. But that would not represent the death of biblioblogs in general. And I suspect that, as long as someone has interesting things to say and an entertaining way to say them, there will be room for their blogs. Some of the most popular blogs \u2013 and some that seem to definitely be increasing in popularly \u2013 are not ones that even claim to offer some particular expert perspective.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.patheos.com\/blogs\/exploringourmatrix\/files\/2014\/01\/biblioblog.jpg\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20313 alignright\" alt=\"\" width=\"158\" height=\"49\">Now that it has become a part of everyday life that experts talk about their work publicly, I don't see that ever disappearing completely. It may happen less via one particular platform and more through another at various points in the future. But what blogging represents will, I believe, continue.<\/p>\n<p>What do readers of this blog think? What is the future of biblioblogging, if indeed you think there is one?<\/p>\n<p>And do we need (with <a href=\"http:\/\/politicaljesus.com\/2014\/03\/22\/godsnotdead-and-neither-are-the-biblioblogs\/?utm_source=feedly&amp;utm_reader=feedly&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=godsnotdead-and-neither-are-the-biblioblogs#sthash.jhRhmp1f.dpbs\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">HT to Rod<\/a>) a song to express this \u2013 a version of the famous children's song from church, with lyrics that say something like \u201cBlog's not dead NO it's still alive\u2026\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brian LePort and then Claude Mariottini asked whether biblioblogs are dying.
