The <a href=\"http:\/\/googlesystem.blogspot.com\/2011\/10\/google-reader-will-integrate-with.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">announced plan to eliminate Google Reader and integrate some (but not all) of its features with Google+<\/a> will presumably affect this blog in at least one concrete way: the sidebar in which I share links to things of interest on other blogs will presumably have to be eliminated, since <a href=\"http:\/\/tech.slashdot.org\/story\/11\/10\/20\/2250246\/reader-merging-with-google?utm_source=rss1.0moreanon&amp;utm_medium=feed\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the \u201cShare\u201d feature is one of the components of Google Reader due to be eliminated<\/a>, and the sidebar feed depends on that feature.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/ts4.mm.bing.net\/images\/thumbnail.aspx?q=1337532223883&amp;id=afbb201edb3859cd41a2d25f5ea849e3\" alt=\"\" width=\"205\" height=\"163\">The good news is that <a href=\"http:\/\/venturebeat.com\/2011\/10\/20\/google-plus-reader\/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Venturebeat+%28VentureBeat%29&amp;utm_content=Google+Feedfetcher\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">anyone who wants to still see those somewhat random links that are too interesting not to do something with, but which I don\u2019t have time to mention in an actual blog post, can find me on Google+<\/a>.
