This new religion, Terasem, is intended to recall \u201cEarthseed\u201d although the article reflects some confusion about what language is being drawn on to make the name. Presumably \u201cEarthseed\u201d itself is copyrighted, although sometimes people like the mystery that is created by using obscure and foreign-sounding terms.<\/p>\n<p>See also <a href=\"http:\/\/sawiggins.wordpress.com\/2014\/06\/26\/trans-human\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Steve Wiggins\u2019 blog post<\/a> which starts with Terasem and moves from there to transhumanism.
