Ultimately, however, we must deal with the fact that to read and understand God\u2019s word, we utilize the same cognitive abilities that allow us to reconstruct the common ancestry of life on Earth over millions of years.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The quote above comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/questioninganswersingenesis.blogspot.com\/2014\/06\/the-us-needs-more-scientists-and-ken.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the blog Questioning Answers in Genesis<\/a>, in a post about the detrimental effect of pseudoscience on our society.<\/p>\n<p>Of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/jesuscreed\/2014\/06\/26\/is-there-room-in-the-middle-rjs\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">related interest<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/io9.com\/why-believing-in-astrology-is-not-as-harmless-as-you-th-1595802206\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">IO9 had a post<\/a> on why acceptance of astrology is not harmless.
