In celebration of the return of Chuck on NBC tonight for its final season, let me share a link to Mike Friesen\u2019s blog. Mike shared<\/a> an excerpt from an interview in GQ<\/em> with Zachary Levi,\u00a0the actor who plays Chuck, about what it is like being a Christian in Hollywood<\/a>. Levi says, among other things, \u201cA lot of people, especially Christians, want to put you in this box of being a Christian actor, and I don\u2019t believe in it. You do yourself and everyone else a big disservice when you start thinking about it as \u201cChristian art.\u201d That\u2019s why most Christian art is bad. They don\u2019t put a premium on the \u201cart.\u201d They\u2019re banking on it being Christian art, which I think is abusing faith.\u201d The interview is actually from last year, but still of interest<\/a>.<\/p>\n
