In my intro to OT class, we were required to do an \u201cart project\u201d \u2014 something creative about what we\u2019d learned that quarter. A group of us got together and sang, \u201cWho wrote the Pentateuch\u201d to the tune of \u201cWho wrote the book of love,\u201d talking about the various sources. I only remember for sure the refrain, \u201cTell me, tell me who\u2026 who who who who\u2026 who wrote the Pentateuch\u2026\u2026\u201d and then snippets of the verses, like \u201cthe J-source was a realist\u2026.\u201d and \u201cthe E-source was a dreamer\u2026.\u201d and \u201cwe don\u2019t know much about the P but they were probably all men\u201d or something like that.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If there is no one who actually still has the lyrics to that, perhaps I and\/or others should try to recreate it? It seems like it could be pedagogically useful, as well as entertaining.<\/p>\n

I also noticed (as one does) that one can easily sing about Ab\u00e9lard and H\u00e9lo\u00efse to the tune of \u201cEbony and Ivory.\u201d Just saying\u2026<\/p>\n
