Those who teach religion and those who study it at university are inevitably familiar\u00a0with the question, \u201cWhat can you do with a degree in religion?\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"I learned last week, at a celebration for Butler University\u2019s<\/a> departing president Bobby Fong, one answer to that question.<\/p>\n

Our incoming university president, James M. Danko<\/a>, majored in religious studies as an undergraduate.<\/p>\n

He went on<\/a> to found a company, work in university administration at a variety of levels including currently as the Helen and William O\u2019Toole Dean of Villanova School of Business at Villanova University.<\/p>\n

I often answer the question \u201cWhat can you do with a degree in religion?\u201d with the answer \u201canything.\u201d But it is always good to have concrete examples of specific \u201canythings\u201d from the real world<\/a>. James M. Danko, soon to be president of Butler University, is one such example.<\/p>\n
