Probably the clearest evidence that he isn\u2019t a scholar at all is found in his attempt at undermining Thonemann by saying \u201cHe\u2019s not a biblical scholar, he\u2019s a Greek classicist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since the lead books seem to have some Greek writing on them (at the very least, Elkington\u2019s earlier bronze plates did), and have not been shown to contain any part of the Bible, why would there be anything inappropriate about a classicist commenting on them?
