I still like the earlier movie better. It may be partly because I saw it first.\u00a0But I think my preference is\u00a0also because the movie developed further the technological details, the political and social aspects of the story, and the issues it raises, in a full-length feature film.<\/div>\n

We\u2019ll be discussing the original story as well as a couple of others by Kurt Vonnegut (\u201cTomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow\u201d and \u201cWelcome to the Monkey House\u201d), and the (older) Harrison Bergeron movie, in my first year seminar class tomorrow morning. <\/div>\n
