A\u00a0recent article<\/a> on Simcha Jacobovici\u2019s The Lost Gospel<\/a> $\"\"$ <\/i> included\u00a0Titian\u2019s painting \u201cNoli me Tangere,\u201d which is in the public domain. \u00a0I had seen the painting before, but the poses of the two figures\u00a0never struck me in quite the way they did when I saw it connected with Jacobovici\u2019s conspiracy theory about Jesus and Mary Magdalene being married. And so it seemed appropriate to add a caption to it.<\/p>\n
