When I saw the above, it reminded me of a point I try to emphasize in the second semester of my course \u201cFaith, Doubt, and Reason,\u201d which focuses on utopias and dystopias. It is not enough to have a vision for changing the world.\u00a0Having an impact depends on how you say what you have to say, and not just on the importance of the content of your message.<\/p>\n

This is also connected with the movie Mockingjay Part 1 which I recently saw. Starting a revolution involves motivating people to rally behind a person, a symbol, a cause, to be willing to make sacrifices. And so we see the attempts of both the capital and the rebels in District 13 to win a battle of publicity, and not just a battle of conventional weapons.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
