Classical references abound. Here\u2019s one of my favorite examples \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lyrics.com\/cinema-show-lyrics-genesis.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Cinema Show<\/a>, which mentions <a href=\"http:\/\/kiwidepia.com\/kiwi\/dC9pL3IvVGlyZXNpYXM=#Recreaciones_musicales\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Tiresias<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>One could trace this one figure through progressive rock \u2013 I discovered this evening that Tiresias also gets a passing mention in the song by Styx, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/lyrics.astraweb.com\/display\/405\/styx..grand_illusion..castle_walls.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Castle Walls<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>But the keyboard solo in the latter (if one can even call it that) obviously cannot compete with the one in the former.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/7622297540113836091-7147489453210843602?l=exploringourmatrix.blogspot.com\" alt=\"\"><\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rogue Classicism shared information about a conference on the musical reception of classical antiquity.
