On the Early Jewish Monotheism blog today, the program<\/a> for the sessions on monotheism in Biblical studies for the International SBL meeting in London this summer were announced. Looking at the line-up of presenters and paper topics, I\u2019m tempted to ask for an extension on an article on monotheism that I am scheduled to have finished early in the summer, since\u00a0the session in London\u00a0is certain to provide so much food for thought and so many interesting and divergent perspectives.<\/p>\n

Monotheism also comes up in\u00a0Steve Douglas\u2019\u00a0review of chapter 10 of Thom Stark\u2019s book<\/a> The Human Faces of God<\/a>\"\"<\/span><\/em>. The blog post<\/a> in question has the provocative subtitle \u201cpeer reviewing the Biblical authors.\u201d<\/p>\n
