The test is simple: ask how frequently two female characters talk about something other than male characters. It has been applied to Doctor Who, for instance, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/exploringourmatrix\/2014\/06\/doctor-who-the-monster-of-peladon.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">I shared an infographic on the subject here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/chickpastor.wordpress.com\/2014\/08\/12\/the-book-of-ruth-and-the-bechdel-test\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Beth Birkholz, a Lutheran Pastor ,applied the Bechdel Test to the Bible<\/a>, and was not impressed by the results.
