I\u2019m not sure the Napoleon comparison will be helpful to the discussion, however, since\u00a0historians expect there to be much more evidence for a political ruler and military leader than for an itinerant teacher or exorcist. But presumably the point is that it is possible to doubt the existence of just about anyone and anything, including individuals and events that would be expected to leave behind better historical evidence and in fact have done so, and so the ability of mythicists to doubt the existence of Jesus doesn\u2019t do anything other than provide yet another instance of this phenomenon.<\/p>\n
