In the case of Star Wars, this was at least somewhat intentional on George Lucas\u2019 part, as he drew consciously on Joseph Campbell\u2019s work on mythology and the common themes and storylines that run through it. <\/div>\n<div style=\"border-bottom: medium none;border-left: medium none;border-right: medium none;border-top: medium none\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"border-bottom: medium none;border-left: medium none;border-right: medium none;border-top: medium none\">It\u2019s just another one of many topics for discussion in religion and science fiction this semester!<\/div>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/7622297540113836091-1232671407721194427?l=exploringourmatrix.blogspot.com\" alt=\"\"><\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here\u2019s yet another identification of parallels between Avatar and another story \u2013 in this case Pocahontas.
