The cartoon captures as well the fact that, while the one who is fact-checking might believe themselves to be wise, they are in fact immature, and failing to appreciate the importance of genre.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otagosh.blogspot.com\/2015\/05\/cultural-christians.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Gavin also drew\u00a0my attention<\/a> to the following quote, which makes the same point:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cBoth theists and most of\u00a0today\u2019s agitated atheists get a failing grade in literary criticism, the\u00a0atheists by obsessing over the dogmas and the theists by mistaking metaphors for facts.
