The Bible\u2019s real usefulness is in its connecting us to people in the past. But to truly benefit from this, we have to avoid the extremes of either assuming that the\u00a0authors whose works are included in the Bible\u00a0somehow always know better than we do, or conversely, assuming that we always know better than they do.
