Another instance of me sharing a post<\/a> of mine on Facebook, and finding in the process of creating a \u201cblurb\u201d for it that those words might themselves be worth sharing. The Bible\u2019s real usefulness is in its connecting us to people in the past. But to truly benefit from this, we have to avoid the extremes of either assuming that the\u00a0authors whose works are included in the Bible\u00a0somehow always know better than we do, or conversely, assuming that we always know better than they do. It is the conversation across history that will enable us to dynamically remain rooted in what is positive in our traditions while also being creative and innovative.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
