I have a new article published in\u00a0The Bible and Interpretation<\/em>: \u201cMythicism and the Making of Mark.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

I think that this will be my last article in this series about Richard Carrier\u2019s book On the Historicity of Jesus: Why We Might Have Reason for Doubt<\/a>\"\"<\/i>,\u00a0not only because I\u00a0am now on sabbatical and have other things to focus on, but because (as my articles about the book hopefully make clear) I honestly don\u2019t think what Carrier has argued is significant or interesting enough \u2013 to say nothing of plausible enough \u2013 to merit further engagement.\u00a0And more than that, in the conclusion of my most recent article<\/a>, I suggest that Carrier has concocted a viewpoint which is compatible with any evidence, and as a result, unfalsifiable.<\/p>\n
