Perhaps I should also hope that president Obama\u2019s response \u2013 inviting Ahmed to the White House \u2013 will confirm stereotypes that people have of our president, and of liberal and progressive Christians, of whom the president is one.<\/p>\n

But\u00a0clearly if your stereotype of Muslims \u2013 and of people with names like Ahmed and Mohamed \u2013 is that they build bombs,\u00a0then this story should serve to challenge your stereotypes.<\/p>\n

How many\u00a0Muslims have to build clocks and not kill anyone before Americans start to take this issue seriously?<\/p>\n
