I have not tracked down a recording of the latter piece \u2013 if anyone can point me in the right direction, I\u2019d be grateful, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2011\/03\/the-hymn-of-jesus-mandaean-hymns-and-other-gnostic-music.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">I am very interested<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2007\/07\/music-for-spiritual-exploration.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">compositions that set extracanonical\u00a0texts to music<\/a>, as Rodrigo did\u00a0with other Qumran texts, Holst did with the <a href=\"http:\/\/imslp.org\/wiki\/The_Hymn_of_Jesus,_Op.37_(Holst,_Gustav)\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Hymn of Jesus<\/a>, and Hovhaness did with a few of the Odes of Solomon.<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Joaqu\u00edn Rodrigo: Himno de los ne\u00f3fitos de Qumr\u00e1n (I.
